After 20 plus years as a freelance make up artist, I have decided to go back to school and get my New York State Esthetician license. A license will open up new opportunities and broaden my knowledge- two things I crave! This decision doesn't come lightly. I knew I wanted to expand somehow. I have been procrastinating going to any kind of make up school and holding off on making any kind of decision about my future for two years. And right now the time is right.
What does this mean for my clients and future clients? It means my schedule to do freelance is limited, but I am and will be open for business!
My school schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm starting November 2 until the end of February which will fulfill the 600 hours to get the license. I will be booking brow and make up clients on the weekends and in an emergency, after school in the evenings. If you'd like to see me before my busy new schedule starts, I suggest reaching out to me to book your appointment for any day from now until my classes start (October 16-November 1). If you need Halloween make up, please, BOOK NOW. I have also committed to working at the annual Bread and Yoga Holiday Market. For those who don't know, Inwood's local yoga studio does an annual market where I set up a booth and do brows and make up all day. It is 3 Saturdays in December. I will let all of you know when I will be booking those appointments.
I am looking to expand my business to further assist you too! By the beginning of March, I will be trained in skincare, facials, and waxing. I am so excited to see where all of this will take me!
Thank you for your support and most of all your business all these years.
